Born in Chicago almost 20 years ago, Sprinkle On spices has become one of the most popular brands of breading and spices for restaurants and the average person, not just in the city, but across the country. The history of Sprinkle On started from a love for food and a love for taste.

Our founder spent decades in the restaurant-food distribution business after developing King Wholesale Food Service. While meeting numerous restaurant owners and managers, he heard many stories of how their most popular breading and seasonings, lemon pepper, needed to be modified; customers wanted something "extra" a bit more "pizazz to spice it up!"

He began experimenting with this simple seasoning, and from a dash of an extra herb, and a bit more of different blends, simple lemon pepper became a thing of the past. From there, Sprinkle On was created.

He began distributing his new blend to restaurants across the country and it instantly became a hit. With more flavor experimenting and add-ins, Sprinkle On created their own line of delicious fish, chicken and shrimp breading.

If restaurants needed a new kind of breading, then they surely needed a new twist on seasonings! From there, more modifications and experimenting lead to different blends and basic lemon pepper became a thing of the past. Sprinkle On created the delicious four more flavors: garlic, ranch, cajun and jerk seasonings.
